  Brought my 16 yr old son into the clinic with pains in the lower left part of his abdomen and he was throwing up. Told the doctor he already had his appendix out. Showed the doctor a picture of a red mark my son had on his stomach earlier in the day( which was all but gone now) his diagnosis was Shingles. He wrote out a prescription and I took it to the pharmacy. I asked the pharmacist for her opinion and she was not in agreement with it. She suggested going to the hospital which I did. The triage nurse was very surprised to hear about the diagnosis and didn't think it correct. Staff took a blood sample and took X-rays. Their conclusion was that he had a blockage and to take a laxative. All was good by the next day. I would have to say that's a far cry from Shingles. Will never go back again while that doctor is on duty!!!
